Iversoft Acquires ReSoMe, Launches Digital Marketing and Analytics Services

OTTAWA, ON – Aug. 29, 2017 – Iversoft, a growing technology company that specializes in creating digital experiences, today announced it has acquired ReSoMe Inc, one of Ottawa’s top digital marketing agencies. ReSoMe was founded in 2011 by Shawna Tregunna to help clients navigate and leverage the social landscape. The company has worked with brands such as PlaSmart, Kettleman’s Bagel Co, Adobe, CAA NEO, Yuk Yuk’s, Gilmore Global, and Brew Donkey.

“Iversoft has achieved a lot of success in helping clients create mobile and next gen digital experiences,” said Vicki Iverson, co-founder, and CTO at Iversoft. “But something was missing; we wanted to be able to help our clients promote and drive users to their apps and websites. We’ve partnered with Shawna and ReSoMe for years, and were impressed by their ability to build up a brand, engage users, and drive sales as well as their similar work philosophy and passion. It was a natural fit.”

Shawna and her team will join Iversoft to bring to life a new Digital Marketing and Analytics division. The team will be responsible for strategy development, community management, content creation, SEO, and influencer marketing. What makes the team different is its expertise in integrating the right marketing technology from day one of a project in order to properly collect and analyze data to help clients make more intelligent business decisions.

With the launch of a Digital Marketing and Analytics division, Iversoft can now offer a full suite of digital services from concept, to design and development, to execution and marketing – either as a complete project or à la carte style, depending on the client’s needs.

“I started ReSoMe to help clients understand and build a strategy that specifically made social media ‘relevant’ for them,” said Shawna. “By joining forces with Iversoft, we’ll have even more resources to support our clients. Plus, we can now offer marketing services that are integrated into day one of a digital strategy, which is a key component to delivering a successful technology project.”

For the last 18 months, Iversoft has been executing on a growth strategy that has seen two acquisitions (Jelly Smeared Games, August 2016 and ReSoME, August 2017), an increase in staff from eight to 30+ people, and an extended target market ranging from start-ups and SMEs to large enterprises and channel partners. With still a few weeks to go before its eighth anniversary, the company has achieved its biggest revenue year in its history with triple-digit growth and plans to move into a new, larger space this winter.
